Shipping Information

This page lists some valuable details about the shipping process once you've purchased a vehicle from us. Please read the information below carefully as it may help speed up the shipping process so you can receive your vehicle quickly and with no troubles. Please let us know if you have any questions about any of the information listed here or about the shipping process in general.

Departure and arrival dates are subject to change at sudden notice. This is usually due to unforeseen circumstances such as overcrowding, bad weather, and so on. Because we have no control over such circumstance, please do not make plans that depend on your vehicle arriving on the precise scheduled date, as it may likely change.

We do our best to make sure the details on your invoice, Bill of Lading, and other such documents are correct. We send these documents to you via UPS, and will send you a confirmation e-mail with copies of these details before the vessel containing your vehicle departs, so please be sure to double check these details and let us know as quickly as possible if any changes should be made.

For the details on the Bill of Lading for your vehicle, we must have a postal address and telephone number for the final destination country. For example, if you live in South Africa but the vehicle will be sent to Zambia, we must have a Zambian postal address and phone number to list on the BL.

Once the vessel containing your vehicle departs Japan the Bill of Lading cannot be changed. If an emergency occurs and the BL needs to be changed after shipment, we require a $100 fee to make any amendments, and will only make the changes once this fee has been received.

Your clearing agency will need the original Bill of Lading (which we send via UPS) in order to clear your vehicle at the arrival port. For this reason it is recommended your vehicle documents be sent directly to your clearing agent as this saves time and will prevent any unexpected port charges if your documents arrive later than expected or your vehicle arrives earlier than expected.

After we send your vehicle documents via UPS, we send you a confirmation e-mail with a tracking number so you can check the progress of the package. The package usually takes 7 to 10 days to arrive, but if it has not arrived within 2 weeks please let us know as soon as possible.

Theft of vehicle accessories during transit is not uncommon, and is difficult to remedy as insurance does not cover this. We will do our best to ensure that your accessories are secure prior to shipment, but we cannot take responsibily if anything is missing when the vehicle arrives. For this reason, we ask that you please check the pictures we provided of your vehicle before it is shipped. Once you receive your vehicle, please take a close look at it. If you notice that anything is missing (such as the stereo or tire covers) please make a claim with the port authority as soon as possible.
