I bought two units from MG Auto Trading; a Motorcycle (Honda Steed 400cc; and a Nissan pick truck 1ton). Through the transaction until when I received the units in Uganda, one thing really touched my mind. At each and every stage of the process Mr. Todd or his staff kept me informed on what was happening. This was really unique. They even suggested to me options that would allow me cut down on costs for shipping the motor cycle which was my main interest. The motor cycle was to be shipped only in a container. It was expensive and I was about to give up buying the motorcycle. Mr.Todd advised me to buy a car or truck, that would fit in the container with the motor cycle. He recommended to me a Nissan truck 1ton (which he said sales well in Uganda), which would fit in the same container with the motor cycle. The shipping cost would not change. He advised that when the units are in Uganda, I would then sell the pick-up truck and recover some of the shipping costs, which worked out well. When the units arrived in Uganda, I sold the pick up truck at a very good price recovering all the shipping costs plus some clearing and taxes charges for the Motorcycle. I'm ever very grateful to MGT and Mr.Todd in particular for this unique interest in thier customers. Always I recommend to my friends and others to buy from them. My Bike is great!.

Hi Todd,

This was quite a daunting experience, being my first vehicle and purchasing it overseas. MGT made it so simple. What impressed me the most was your Trustworthiness. My initial order was a 1998 model however, it was discovered by MGT to have had a problem.The replacement was a 2000 model, the condition very good, the ac works perfectly (I have to to turn it off sometimes as it gets too cold for me) and the stereo is a blast. Thank you MGT for turning what should have been a daunting experience into a walk in the park. I would highly recommend you to anyone intending a vehicle purchase from Japan.

I've been communicating with MGT for the past 3 years, and I must say, although we've never met, we communicate on mail like old school friends - so friendly you'll think it's not business we're transacting. What's more, although I've bought only one vehicle from them - a good sturdy tipper, and my demands so many and varied and usually requiring quick reply,they are so patient and that they respond to all demands, including offering alternatives, discounts..etc. After buying the vehicles, the documents were swiftly despatched, and no hitch did I get with Mombasa port or customs in Uganda in clearing. try them, and you'll like them.
